ICAN CARERS SUPPORT GROUP Meetings

We meet from 10.00am to 12.00noon on the first Tuesday of every month at the Meeting Room, (Library Building), Capalaba Place, Noeleen Street, Capalaba. This group is open to all those caring for relatives or friends with a disability, be it intellectual, physical, age-related or psychiatric. Morning tea is provided and meetings go from 10.00am-Noon.

The ICAN Carer Support Group sometimes has guest speakers on subjects of interest such as Guardianship Laws, Wills, Departmental funding, other community services, etc. - even foot care and a relaxing foot massage.

Meetings are very informal, there are no fees and new members are always welcome. Carers should feel free to drop in at any time during any meeting for as long as they want.

Guest Speaker this month will be Brian Shepherdson who is a solicitor and our regular guest speaker. Brian will give us a very informative session on "Enduring Power of Attorney & Wills". Please come along and bring a plate to share.
